MASSAPEQUA, NY

Feeding, Swallowing, & Speech Therapy for Children Ages Birth to 18

Welcome to Kelly Catapano LLC!

We help children eat, drink, and speak with confidence.

We are a pediatric feeding and speech therapy practice that strives to create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn in. Using a neurodevelopmental therapy approach, we are uniquely able to provide holistic and hands-on treatments to address the motor control issues that often underlie feeding, swallowing, and speech challenges. We travel to homes near Massapequa, NY and provide virtual services to families throughout the state. Our therapy sessions emphasize parent coaching and education, because YOU are your child's greatest advocate!

Feeding & Swallowing Therapy

Watch your child become a "food explorer" as they learn about the sensory properties of food! We incorporate oral motor exercises for those learning to chew and swallow as well as cooking tasks, games, and taste-testing to keep feeding fun, motivating, and stress-free.

Speech & Language Therapy

Whether your child has difficulty forming sounds, coordinating mouth movements, or expressing themselves using language, we can help them grow. We use play-based therapy methods and teach parents how to turn simple play activities into rich speech-language experiences.

Parent Coaching
& Education

Our goal is to empower you with strategies that you can use in daily life to support your child's speech, language, feeding, and swallowing skill development. We work alongside your family and celebrate each and every victory - no matter how big or small!

Meet Kelly

Kelly Catapano, MS, CCC-SLP, C/NDT

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Certified Neuro-Developmental Therapist

I am a passionate and dedicated speech therapist with over 17 years of experience providing feeding, speech, and language therapy to children from birth to young adulthood. I have worked in schools, early intervention, home health, outpatient clinics, and inpatient pediatric hospital settings (NICU, PICU).

Along with my professional experiences, I am also the mother of two children - one of whom was a picky eater. I know what it feels like to think you are 'failing' as a parent because you can't ensure that your child is getting the nutrition they need to grow and thrive. While that experience can be scary and isolating, it's my goal to step in and support you in creating enjoyable, stress-free mealtimes.

 Testimonials

Now, we have hope, and hope is the best place to start.

"...Thank you again for meeting with us today. I admit, I was apprehensive beforehand, because we've seen so many people trying to find answers in the past 5 years. Sometimes we just wanted to give up and live in the land of Happy Meals (Misery Meals, as I call them) forever. Now, we have hope, and hope is the best place to start."
